I have been collecting numbers from both the EU, US and Swedish market when it comes to pricing and number of ads on the various sites over time.
The idea is to over time be able to see trends and changes in the different markets. I have been collecting data from the sites
www.blocket.se for Sweden,
TheParking.com for the EU and
cars.com,
autotrader.com and
cargurus.com for the US based markets.
From the beginning I was just collecting raw numbers and prices, but lately I have been breaking it down in per version to give even more detailed insights.
I aim to keep posting updates here on the blog, so feel free to come back here to follow the pricing graphs. Also - if there are any other comparisons or versions of graphs that you think would make sense - just comment, and I will see what I can do about it.
